Lenten Prayer Study: Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina and Home Altar

From the Interim Rector:

Sandy and I have enjoyed the practice of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina plus the setting aside of sacred space in our home.   We believe it is a wonderful way not only to enrich the spiritual life but also a means of changing our lives and our homes.   We are offering a workshop at St. Andrew's on Saturday, February 13 th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm .   We have invited a practitioner of the above, Ms. Vickie Longhoffer, to lead our program.   This is the Saturday before Ash Wednesday.

            During Lent Sandy and I will offer a weekly study and practice of Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina.   We will also work with anyone desiring to set aside a space in their home for prayer.   We do hope you will join us.   Please call the church office (275-1651) and put your name on a list for the workshop so we can be prepared for your attendance.   If you have any questions please feel free to call us at home (656-1328) or the church.   We will set the time for our Lenten Program based on the availability of those involved.
