Educational and Spiritual Formation

"Read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest"… studying the Word of God and its meaning in our lives is an ancient practice, and one of the three basic principles of the Episcopal tradition, the other two being worship and service. Seeking and learning as a means to faith formation is essential at every stage of life, and is an important part of parish life at St. Andrew's.

The mission of the Education and Spiritual Formation Team is to facilitate spiritual growth through a number of different venues, for all members of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The team meets quarterly and oversees planning and activities for Children and Youth Christian Education, Adult Christian Education, Weekday Bible Study, the Men's Study Group, the Youth Support Team, EfM, Vacation Bible School, and other seasonal classes and events. Members of the Team recruit teachers and study group leaders, help with scheduling, and work closely with the Children's Coordinator in implementing curriculums for children and youth.
